Girlfriends
Me, Sara and Mehek
It's been a really long time since I've had girl friends. Most of my friends over the past five years or so have been guys. Don't get me wrong, I love my guys! Jason, Devendra and Sandeep are the best, but every once in a while, a girl needs other girls. I'm glad to say I've finally found them. Sara, Mehek and I have been inseperable lately.
It's nice to have them around. They don't think I'm weird when I'm sitting there with an eyeliner pencil in my hand and I ask "how do I do this again?" When I say I'm cooking somthing yummy for dinner, they tell me they'll be over at six. When we get ready to go out they look at my stock of clothes and pull something out and say "wear this!"
Yeah, it's really nice. I finally have someone to gossip with. There is very little about me now that they don't know. Every two weeks or so we have a "girls night" where we do anything from dye our hair to peel-off masks to playing with play-dough. We sing with the radio, laugh at eachother and watch Bollywood films. It's good to be a girl.
